Cell Population Analysis
Flow cytometry data
Gain deeper insights into your cell populations with expert cell population analysis.
At Inaphaea Biolabs, our team can help you design and implement highly sensitive flow cytometry and FACS assays to profile key characteristics of your cell populations. We can assess cell cycle, viability, apoptosis, surface or intracellular protein expression, and much more.
Flow cytometry allows individual cells within a mixed population to be analysed as they pass through multiple laser beams. By staining cells with fluorophore-conjugated antibodies, the expression of specific proteins—either on the surface or within the cell—can be quantified.
This approach enables simultaneous measurement of multiple parameters in the same sample, making it a powerful tool to understand the heterogeneity of your cell populations. In addition to antibody-based protein detection, a wide range of reagents can be used to evaluate cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, and other functional readouts.
Using flow cytometry and FACS, you can monitor how distinct cell populations respond to treatments or experimental conditions, providing valuable insights for your research programs.
Example Data
In the example below, we analysed cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) from a triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patient-derived cell (PDC) model. CAF populations were identified using surface markers, and gating strategies allowed us to distinguish subpopulations with high precision. FACS sorting can then be applied to isolate these populations for downstream analysis, ensuring reproducible and targeted insights into tumour biology.
